A: Farmers State Bank is striving to make banking as easy and convenient as possible for you. Internet Banking allows you to access your accounts at your convenience via the internet from your home or office, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, we are providing INTERNET BANKING at no charge to our customers. You may use INTERNET BANKING to:
• Transfer funds between accounts
• Obtain balance information on accounts
• Review transactions on accounts
• Obtain interest information
• Make loan payments
• Setup personalized reminders and alerts
• Access a savings bonds calculator and track bonds
• Export transaction history to PFM (personal finance management software)
Q: What do I need to access INTERNET BANKING?
A: You will need a connection to the Internet and either Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher or Netscape version 7.0 or higher. You must also have an account with Farmers State Bank and will need to enroll for Internet Banking.
Q: Is INTERNET BANKING secure?
A: When you do your banking on INTERNET BANKING, you can be assured that you are in a secure environment where your account information is safe. Our Internet Banking System uses industry standard technology including password-controlled entry, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and 128-bit encryption. 128-bit encryption is the highest level of encryption currently available. Firewalls and filter routers act as security guards for your data passing back and forth to the computers. INTERNET BANKING will automatically lock a User out if an incorrect User ID and Password are entered 5 consecutive times. If a user is locked out because they have exceeded the number of allowable password attempts, they must contact Farmers State Bank to be reset.
Q: What can I do to increase the security of the system?
A: Keep the password you establish confidential. Do not share it with anyone. Avoid choosing a password that can be easy to guess. Always remember to "Log Off" the INTERNET BANKING system if you will be away from your computer. If you believe that an unauthorized user has obtained your User ID and Password, contact Farmers State Bank immediately.
Q: Can I change my Customer Log In?
A: Yes, you can change your User ID as often as you wish. Just click on "User Options" then "Change Customer Log In", type your new Customer Log In, verify it, then click submit.

A: Yes, you can change your password as often as you wish. Just click on "User Options" then "Change Password" input your current password, then your new password and click on Change Password. Your password must be at least 6 characters long and contain at least one alpha character, one numeric character and one special character. Your password is case sensitive.
Q: What if I forget my Password or get locked out?
A: Users have five tries to logon before their password is locked out. We do not have access to your Password once you have changed it on your initial login to INTERNET BANKING. However, we can reset your Password tries if you remember your password, or we can give you a new password. You can then change it to a password of your preference the next time you login. Q: What accounts will I see?
A: All open accounts in which you have direct ownership will be activated for your INTERNET BANKING Internet Banking account. You have the option of choosing which of these accounts you wish to view. Contact the bank if you would like to add accounts to be viewed online.
Q: When are transactions available to view on INTERNET BANKING?
A: Transactions from a business day are updated on INTERNET BANKING at 5pm CST.
Q: What are the transaction cut-off times for INTERNET BANKING?
A: We only process transactions and update information on business days. Our business days are Monday through Friday. Transfers made after 2:00pm CST, will be processed on the next business day. Federal holidays are not included.
Q: Why can I only view and not transfer from some accounts?
A: Accounts that require two signatures for withdrawal and Uniform Transfer to Minors Act Accounts only have view and deposit options. This means you can view balances and transactions, and make transfers to these accounts, but you can not transfer from these accounts. Also, you cannot advance funds on a loan through INTERNET BANKING
Q: How do I setup a one time or automatic transfer?
A: Login to your INTERNET BANKING account, choose "Account Access" and "Account Transfer". Choose from the drop down boxes the accounts you wish to transfer from and to. Enter the amount of the transfer. Enter the first day you wish for the transfer to occur. For recurring transfers choose “Account Access” then “Scheduled Transfers.” Click “Add” then fill in the required information, and click “Save Transfer.”
Q: How do I set up notifications?
A: Login to your INTERNET BANKING account. Choose "Account Access" and "Notifications". Fill in the information for the notifications you would like to receive and the email you would like to received them at, then click “Submit.” Please verify that the bank has your current email address on file. You can check or make changes to your email address by going to User Options > Email Address.
Q: How do I see what I have done within INTERNET BANKING?
A: Login to your INTERNET BANKING account. Choose "Custom Reports". You can search by transaction type, date, check number, and amount.
